Overview

BOOST LLC is helping one of our successful clients hire a Capture/Proposal Lead to join their expanding team. You will develop strategies that position the company for success. You will lead the end-to-end process for delivering both small, as well as large, complex, or multiple proposals ensuring accurate and timely submission. You will leads the development of customer or market penetration strategies and individual opportunity win strategies, account plans, technology development plans, and partnering strategies. You may be responsible for leading teams to develop and deliver various professional services solutions to include whitepapers, demonstrations, proposals, and other internally developed products used to identify, qualify, and capture new business.

Responsibilities

GENERAL

  • Responsible for developing and managing all phases of the proposal process for federal government and commercial Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and other proposal projects for various service offerings.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of current service capabilities and value statements that can be incorporated into proposals
  • Manage and deliver multiple large-scale assignments simultaneously and independently
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and business development team in an ongoing effort to enhance responses based on team learnings
  • Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of RFP templates and maintenance of a document library
  • Manage the internal process to develop proposals, including obtaining key information from a variety of departments including executive, legal, compliance, and finance
  • Ensure that task assignments, schedule, strategy, pricing, section authoring, reviews and production are on track for on-time submission Use information and knowledge gathered to enhance sales training, sales collateral, and interdepartmental knowledge
  • Coordinate the RFP responses to include strategy, approach, and deliverables with bid/capture team
  • Develop effective guidelines and ensure all project documentation meets established guidelines

 

CLIENT SUPPORT

  • Develop business and technical presentations for the customer
  • Provide basic solutions to simple technical problems
  • Understand and communicate government policies and regulations, operational mission, and goals for assigned projects
  • Understand and clearly communicate the project schedule

 

TEAM SUPPORT

  • Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and solutions meet customer needs and expectations
  • Build, confirm, and prioritize project plans and deliverables with senior team members
  • Work independently in a collaborative team environment
  • May work in a team with other partners and vendors
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attend required trainings

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts
  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 4 to 6 years of experience, or a master’s and 2 to 4 years of experience
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a public trust clearance or higher
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills
  • Set priorities for others and drive progress toward a shared goal with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Understand and absorb technical concepts
  • A growth mindset and desire to look for improvements in processes and systems

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Some travel may be required, up to 20% of the time. The travel may be local or national and may be by car, rail, or air
