BOOST is helping one of our successful clients hire a  strong Business Analyst to provide support for one of their contracts in Washington, DC. This role is on-site but will be 100% REMOTE during the pandemic.


The Business Analyst will be client-facing and a critical part of the delivery team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with senior-level management, working as a liaison between a client and an in-house technical team, gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders, developing and implementing governance processes, conducting administrative team duties, and supporting communications. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences (internal and client-facing, verbal and written) and develop compelling supporting documentation.


  • Assist in applying common best practices for the industry to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models
  • Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed
  • Identify information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals
  • Support the development of functional area strategies for enhanced IT.
  • Proactive and willing to engage in a high degree of verbal and written communication to support the program manager and team in its delivery to the client


  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders and developing those requirements into user stories
  • Experience working with a technical team to document and manage the governance of solutions
  • Experience writing reports, briefings, and decks and presenting them to clients in a way that is professional and influential
  • Experience implementing tools and frameworks to support clients’ future-state business initiatives
  • Attention to detail in formulating project briefings, meeting minutes, communications, documentation, and other materials
  • Ability to complete individual tasks effectively, work in a team environment, and be proactive with little guidance
  • Ability to think critically and analyze a wide variety of complex problems


Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field
