BOOST is helping one of our successful clients hire an experienced Business Development Administrative Assistant to provide support for a government contract in Silver Spring, MD with REMOTE capabilities.


The successful candidate will provide support to the business development (BD) team with duties that include managing BD calendars and preparing meeting materials, monitoring BD emails, and taking point on communications, documenting processes, and managing team deliverables and priorities. A successful candidate will have an excellent work ethic, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.


  • Support the BD team in carrying out day-to-day activities and ensure effective use of team’s time and productive interactions with internal staff, partners, and current/prospective clients by providing multi-faceted administrative support and assistance.
  • Handle a wide range of administrative and support tasks and independently initiates and implements processes to manage projects, information, and people.
  • Provide logistics, manage schedules, prepare meetings, and follow up on tasks.
  • Attend meetings, capture notes, and circulate final copies of meeting minutes accordingly and in a timely manner
  • Maintain/monitor BD email account and respond to inquiries as appropriate.
  • Capture, organize and update BD documentation (e.g. file folders, contact lists, RFX tracking).
  • Assist with the formatting of RFX documentation and other BD materials.
  • Support content development as well as copy editing and/or review of written materials
  • Conduct research and prepare summaries and reports.
  • Support the development of standardized BD documentation.
  • Develop positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Use discretion, judgment, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Be involved in various aspects of the company’s work and support other duties as assigned.


  • 3 years of experience in Business Development and/or administrative projects.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated comfort and success managing project responsibilities and timelines independently.
  • Proactive and creative approach to addressing challenges as they arise.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to apply feedback.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and quality work products.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Possesses strong command of the English language in oral and written form.
  • Comfort working closely with government staff and willingness to work on-site as needed.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access), Google Workspace.
  • Advanced experience and comfort with the use of information technology.


Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Government, or a related discipline
