Overview

BOOST is looking to welcome a Sr. HR Consultant to the HR Divison. This is a full-time position with responsibilities in BOOST client delivery, managing an HR team and business development. We want you to help grow the BOOST HR service area!  We are looking for people who enjoy providing quality delivery of senior HR services to clients, while also leading a team of HR Consultants.  We are a small business looking for individuals who can be flexible with changing business requirements, enjoy the excitement of business development and enjoy managing a team of professionals. 

Responsibilities

 

Client Delivery Responsibilities – HR (50% of time)

  • Manage and deliver strategic and sometimes tactical results for BOOST HR clients
  • Perform some of the following HR tasks for client delivery:
  • Analyze, determine and develop HR strategic plans and HR roadmap with client stakeholders
  • Communicate business impact of HR best practices
  • Assist clients to initiate a plan to develop and build corporate culture
  • Conduct HR assessments for clients
  • Review HR technology and advise clients on system options
  • Benefit enrollment/analysis/plan assessments and compliance
  • OFCCP, DOL and compliance review
  • Government reporting (VETS- 4212, EEO-1, etc.)
  • Policies and procedure creation/review/compliance – advanced level
  • Performance management program design
  • Lead or assist clients with employee terminations
  • Consult clients regarding employee relations
  • Diversity and inclusion consulting
  • Provide regular HR related communications to clients and their employees
  • Other tasks as requested

 

Manage HR Consultants and Grow BOOST HR Services (50% of time)

  • Manage and lead a team of HR Consultants.
  • Oversee all client deliverables; manage client expectations and coach consultants as needed.
  • Develop and manage BOOST HR resources and documents, streamline processes for the team of HR Consultants.
  • Strategize big picture results for clients while looking for ways to consistently upsell BOOST business areas- HR, Accounting, Marketing and Contracts.
  • Participate in BOOST HR services sales calls, effectively determining the appropriate strategy to meet the needs of potential clients.
  • Write and deliver HR proposals as needed.
  • Attend business development meetings as necessary.
  • Attend local SHRM and other industry events.
  • Participate in BOOST corporate leadership calls and strategy meetings.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • Requires minimum of 7+ years of related experience in human resources.
  • Experience working in consulting is required.
  • Proactive and consultative style, with a strong service focus required.
  • Experience managing a team of HR Consultants.
  • Ability to produce expected results in a rapidly changing environment required.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in deciding priorities and procedures.
  • Ability to provide consistent, high-quality service across all assignments.
  • Accuracy and commitment to quality of work.
  • Well organized, detail oriented with ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and web-based tools.
